People living with dementia (both men and women). Dementia is the umbrella term for the symptoms of many brain conditions including Alzheimer's disease, vascular dementia, mixed dementia, lewy body dementia etc.

People living with aquired brain injurys.

We are open to discussing attendance by anyone with a defined need as long as they are able to be resposible for their own personal care or are willing to attend with a care partner.

Social farming in the UK

What we do is sometimes known as ‘care farming’ although we prefer the term ‘social farming’. Care farming is sometimes referred to as 'the therapeutic use of farming practices'.

Cost and practicalities

Beetle Bank Social Farm is committed to keeping its costs as low as possible. We are a not-for-profit Social Enterprise.

Currently we charge £72 per day (10am - 1pm) or £40 for a half day (10am - 1pm OR 1pm - 4pm)

Care partners can attend with their group member free of charge if this is helpful.

Our social farm currently runs between 10am to 4pm weekly on Tuesday’s and Wednesday's.

Beetle Bank Social Farm can help arrange transport for service users by arranging taxis for them.
​

There is a free car park on site for any care partners or voulenteers spending the day with us.
